Blinds are used in places in buildings where resistance to rain, excessive noise, hurricanes, or a combination of these problems is required, while also ensuring proper airflow. A shutter is a type of shutter or shutter with horizontal slats whose angles leave room for light and air, but limit rain and direct sunlight, while dampers control airflow. In HVAC systems, dampers and shutters are used to regulate airflow. Modern blinds are usually made of aluminum, metal, wood or glass. They can be opened and closed with metal levers, pulleys or through electric manipulators. The basic criteria for the performance of the blinds used in the criteria and selection process are free area, air volume flow, air pressure drop and water penetration starting point. None of these standards alone provide sufficient information for blind selection.
